Terms of Service
Terms of Use for visually.space
visually.space is a browser-based presentation and creative tool operated by Your Mother Solutions as a private, non-commercial project. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service.
Visually is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.
You agree not to use Visually to:
- Upload, create, or distribute illegal, harmful, or infringing content
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or attack the service
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Impersonate other individuals or organisations
We reserve the right to remove any content or restrict access without prior notice if these terms are violated.
You retain all rights to content you create or upload. By using Visually, you confirm that you hold the necessary rights to any content you upload and that it does not violate third-party intellectual property rights or any applicable law.
Most of your content is stored locally in your browser (IndexedDB) and is never transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly enable Google Drive sync or use the collaborative session feature.
Connecting your Google account enables several optional features, each with a distinct scope of Drive access:
- Google Drive Sync — Visually creates and manages a Visually Presentations folder in your Drive to save and load your presentations. Only files within this folder are accessed.
- Google Import — Visually reads Google Slides, Docs, Sheets, and Forms from your Drive so you can import them as presentation slides (read-only access).
- Collab File Sharing — When you add a file (PDF, image, video, etc.) to a collaborative session, it is uploaded to a Visually Collabfolder in your Google Drive with "anyone with the link can view" permission, so session participants can download it. You are responsible for ensuring the content you share in collab sessions complies with applicable laws and third-party rights.
You can disconnect your Google account at any time via Settings. Disconnecting removes Visually's active session token but does not delete files already stored in your Drive. You can manage those directly via Google Drive.
Our use of Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
If you connect your Canva account, Visually uses the Canva Connect API to list your designs and export selected designs as PDFs for import as presentation slides. The OAuth access token is stored in your browser's localStorage and is never transmitted to our servers. Your Canva content is not stored by Visually beyond the duration of the import process.
Your use of the Canva integration is also subject to Canva's Terms of Use and their API developer policies. You may disconnect Canva at any time from within the app.
AI features (AI Cockpit, image generation, presenter notes) require you to provide your own API keys from third-party providers (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic). By using these features, you agree to transmit prompt data directly to your chosen provider and to comply with that provider's own terms of service and usage policies.
Visually makes no representations about the accuracy, reliability, or legality of AI-generated outputs. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before use.
Visually is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind — express or implied — including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access to the service. Features may change or be removed at any time.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Your Mother Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages including data loss, service interruption, or any damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — Visually.
Since most data is stored locally in your browser, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important content.
Visually integrates with third-party services. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies:
- Google Terms of Service (Firebase, Drive, Slides, Docs, Sheets, Forms)
- Canva Terms of Use
- Cloudinary Terms of Service
- Netlify Terms of Use
- OpenAI Terms of Use / Anthropic Usage Policy (AI features, user key)
We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of Visually after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We recommend checking this page periodically.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of German courts, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
